    Andreas Skov Olsen

Yeah, I hope he stays put as well, but we both know that if FCN recieves a substantial offer, they won’t exactly beg him to stay. This is not just the Brøndby fan in me speaking, but I’m not quite sold om Robert Skov (for anyone wondering, we currently have two players going by the name of Skov...

    Andreas Skov Olsen

Good point. I forgot all about him. Even though Skov Olsen seems to have lots more talent than Corner, we’re probably closer to 10m than 15, if he keeps up his scoring tally.

    Andreas Skov Olsen

I'm pretty sure he'll be much more expensive than that - I can't even remember the last teenager we had here in Denmark who scored this much. Guys like Mor and Sisto, whom I'd compare him with talentwise, never put out numbers close to Skov Olsen's. The logical move for him would be a Dutch...

    Andreas Skov Olsen

I honestly don't know, but if he keeps up this scoring rate, I'd imagine it could be around 15m. FCN is very much a selling club with a history of making big bucks off of selling their homegrown talents, though, so they'd never agree to a loan with buy option.

    Andreas Skov Olsen

He has about the same hype locally as Emre Mor did, and he went for 10m+, so as I mentioned, I don't think he'd be for the b-team. Perhaps a loan deal type of transfer, as you said, could be on the cards, though. I know guys like Navid rates him highly, but I don't think he's more talented than...

    Andreas Skov Olsen

Judging by the going rates for Danish youth talent these days, I think he'll be too expensive for a b-team player.

    Andreas Skov Olsen

    He absolutely isn't. Bizarre rumor.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

In that one game it obviously did. And if you actually read my original post, you'd see I only referred to that one alone.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

As I said, there's no point in comparing them in clubs they have never coached, which is why why should be compared now. Setien won the first bout, EV learned from it and humbled him in the second. Pretty simple, really.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

    Nonsense.
  11. Trickykid

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

Because it's completely hypothetical of course. As far as I know, EV hasn't been at Betis, and Setien will never be Barça coach either.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

What a ridiculous hypothetical situation

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

    Nah.
  14. Trickykid

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

He got the better of EV for sure, but it's pretty clear who learned the most from that game, no?

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; he's by no means perfect, but he definitely has his moments, such as last night, where he absolutely wiped the floor tactically with poor Setien. Hopefully he won't botch it against Man Utd (and hopefully he players won't let him down either). The...

    Isco

Not even in the squad for the Valladolid trip, despite injuries for Lucas Vasquez, Vini, Bale and Mariano (lol, but still...). Solari really isn’t a fan of poor Isco. He must be looking forward to a managerial change as much as any RM fan or player out there.

    Mariano Diaz

What the hell happened to him anyhow? I mean, how terrible do you have to be in order to not get any minutes in this terrible attack?

    Marco Asensio

I don’t think a player thread has ever taken a u-turn like this one before. Reading up on the beginning of the thread is hilarious stuff  Well, OK, the Coutinho thread is a pretty big contender of course

    Jean-Clair Todibo

Then why the deer in the headlights comment? It reads like you think EV threw him under a bus, which is why I pointed out it was a mere training match.

    Penal Madrid

Yeah, I think I get where you’re coming from. I have always had this strange, intangible notion of relief whenever Barca has been in turmoil. I like the idea of being able to close a chapter, lock the door and throw away the key so that your memories are stored and kept safe. A new, fresh cycle...
