You're getting way ahead of yourself... I haven't joined his fanboy club. To clarify, my current position is that Benatia should have been bought instead of Vermaelen, making Mathieu third choice. And tbh I've always said I'd be fine with Mathieu as a squad player.

I admit, I underestimated him. I hereby change my position from "we should have bought Benatia instead of Mathieu or Vermaelen" to "we should have bought Benatia instead of Vermaelen."

Our RB position is a serious weak spot right now. Alves isn't what he used to be, Montoya isn't that good and Douglas sucks. We NEED to get an RB next summer if the transfer ban is lifted/reduced. Especially if Alves leaves.
