    Penal Madrid

There's a difference between playing DM in Ligue 2 and La Liga. Well of course you like the guy who's trying to ruin RM more than Bartomeu :pep:

    Keylor Navas

    #FreeNavas :pep:

    Andoni Zubizarreta

Zubi's Benatia comment might have been a little more valid if we didn't make a 40m+ bid for Marquinhos. As it stands, it sounds more like a lame excuse than anything.

    Pedro Rodriguez

I think Neymar for Pedro would be a decent sub (more defensive workrate) if we need to hold on to a lead.

    Manchester United

Even with a meh defense, with guys like Falcao and Di Maria in the team and the amount of money Man U have spent this summer, not making top 4 will be a massive failure.

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

+1. For example, in the 2012-13 season, he was inconsistent as hell. Had his awesome games, but also had awful brainfarts (like the one in the supercup).

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

Good. Munir's buyout is quite low, even if he does get promoted.
  8. darthvader7888

How do you rate this transfer window?

+1 Alexis obviously isn't as good as Suarez, but no forward is besides Messi and Ronaldo. He certainly wasn't a flop last season.

    Rafinha Alcantara

    +1

    Pedro Rodriguez

Easy there. They have to play the way they did the past couple of games consistently before we can say that. Also, we should sell as few players as possible until we can buy again.

    Radamel Falcao

Any word on what the buy fee will be?
  12. darthvader7888

    Radamel Falcao

    What was the fee?

    Marc Bartra

+1. Just because a coach does something doesn't mean it is right. This even applies to top coaches, but especially coaches like Tito and Tata, who weren't that good. As far as I'm concerned, saying "but Tito and Tata did X" to support your argument isn't all that different from supporting it...

    Daniel Alves

Douglas? Montoya hasn't been impressive since the first half of the 2012-13 season either. Don't get me wrong, I know Alves is way past his prime, but at the moment we don't have anything better.
  15. darthvader7888

    Pedro Rodriguez

Hold onto him until one of our younger forwards (most likely Munir) surpasses him. No reason to let him go until then really.
  16. darthvader7888

    Ángel Di María

Yeah. This is probably how the selling Di Maria meeting between Carlo and Perez went: Perez: I'm selling Di Maria and Xabi Alonso to buy Kroos and James Carlo: But Di Maria was our best player last season. And we'll be left with no defensive midfielders other than Khedira. Perez: You want to...

    Penal Madrid

Not a single midfielder who can defend. Against Iniesta, Messi, Neymar and Suarez. The clasico's gonna be fun.
  18. darthvader7888

    Ángel Di María

Mou is a lot of things, but a yes man certainly isn't one of them. I doubt he would have let Di Maria get sold, even if Perez wanted it. And he certainly wouldn't have defended Perez's decision like that.
  19. darthvader7888

    Claudio Bravo

I agree with some of your post. Montoya over Alves? I agree, not the best idea. Bartra? Yeah, probably doesn't deserve to start. Rafinha over Xavi? Yeah, definitely not. Ie over Masch? Agree, that would be a shit idea. But there's really no reason to pick Bravo over Ter Stegen.

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

Didn't I already tell you? Thou shalt not compare a Lord to a lesser being like Suarez or Ibra.
