    Nations League 24/25

Great teamplay and gorgeous piece of skill to finish. Their next goal was clinical, too. Always great to see France get sat down.

    Andrés Iniesta

What exactly is a "sushi bozo?" I'm guessing some pathetic attempt at bigotry towards Japanese people? I'm sure Andres would not approve.

    Thomas Muller

Scored a classic Müller goal today in his record appearance for Bayern. Great touch to pull the ball out of the air in the box and spin past his marker, then hammered the half-volley down into the ground and into the net.

La Liga Round 4: Barca - Real Valladolid 7-0

Nah, he played pretty flawlessly. That wasn't why he was subbed. I expect Casado to be a starter for the time being. His main "flaw" is his height. Depending on the opponent, Flick might want to inject more height into the midfield.

La Liga Round 4: Barca - Real Valladolid 7-0

Flick builds far more triangles than Xavi; his are just far more dynamic and through the middle. Triangles on the wings do nothing but shut the team down most of the time.

Best half Barca has played in years. More please.

La Liga Round 4: Barca - Real Valladolid 7-0

Damn this Barca is fun to watch. Flick sets up to drive the ball through the center as much as possible. For the past few years, they've been corralled mostly harmlessly out on the wings. Also seems to be the tactic to find the open teammate in the most advanced position and advance the ball...

    Penal Madrid

:worthy:Absolute class goal by Las Palmas. Lazy defending by Madrid.

    Jasper Cillessen

Some good saves, especially against that set play free kick.

La Liga Round 3: Rayo Vallecano - Barca 1-2

We'll see what Flick can do with him. He's always been an offense killer except when he's bringing the ball forward at full pace on the counter.

    Casado also looking good.

La Liga Round 3: Rayo Vallecano - Barca 1-2

Looking forward to the kids benching FdJ. Bring him on to slow the game down with a lead. Keita 2.0 (though not as skilled).

La Liga Round 3: Rayo Vallecano - Barca 1-2

Looked like a knee ligament sprain. Maybe a light MCL sprain.

La Liga Round 3: Rayo Vallecano - Barca 1-2

No doubt— Flick-ball miles more entertaining than Xavi-ball. Barca fun to watch again. Much more trying to work balls through the middle with slick passing.

La Liga Round 3: Rayo Vallecano - Barca 1-2

Olmo exactly what Barca needs— attacker with instincts and finishing ability. otherwise, it's all build-up, no result. Gavi and Fermin add that as well.

La Liga Round 3: Rayo Vallecano - Barca 1-2

ffs, can't any player push Kounde out of the starting 11? So painful to watch.

    La Liga 24/25

Well played, Real Mallorca. Could very well have taken all 3 points themselves.
