It really depends on the price. If we sell Digne, we will need to replace him, and I'm far from sure that we can get someone as fairly solid as him without overpaying.
I'd sell Mina, though, but considering his WC performances, we'll better milk it as much as possible.
After having signed Arthur there are still loads of rumors floating around about us wanting another midfielder. I'm honestly far from sure if we'll be able to sign any of the big names, and I see a cheaper option such as Rabiot as far more realistic. There's also the possibility that we're going...
Fair enough.
About Gomes, I think he was our out-field squad player with the fewest minutes last season. But yeah, that CL game was as odd a decision as EV's ever made. I have no doubt that it won't have helped Gomes' case in regards to winning over EV for the up coming season, though.
EV doesn't rate him at all, otherwise he would've played much more than those 600 odd minutes in La Liga last season.
Gomes needs to go asap, as he's obviously far from good enough, but people grossly overrate just how much he played under EV.
7 to 10 years?! Really? I honestly couldn't name a single modern day player who's been in the lineup for that long not on merit. Why would it be that extreme with Rabiot? I mean, 1 to 3 years or so, sure, as he would need a decent amount of time to prove his worth, but 7-9 years sounds absurd...
People are circle-jerking and mindlessly parroting each other as usual. Umtiti is fine - he had a rough patch around his contract shenanigans and knee injury, but he's been good this WC and will be good next season as well.
I don't disagree man, it was only your wording that made it sound like you forgot poor Arthur.
I don't really know enough to pass judgment on Rabiot, so I'll refrain from commenting too much on his possible transfer.
Fucking hell, I really don't hope we're actually contemplating throwing that much (or just anything, for that matter) after someone like Willian.
Anyhow, since when did DailyMail become a reliable source?
Ah shit, missed the defender part. Let's all commence fellating Uncle Flo then!
Anyhow, I know he's young, but Hakimi looked a liability last season. Perhaps he will flourish in a weaker league, but he doesn't strike me as a coming RM stalwart.
My second team is my local side, Brøndby IF, and let me tell you, the Danish Superliga rarely sets the world alight with spectacular football, so I'm absolutely with you on that point.
Unless you take naff as bad, I don't think I said you were bad (even though you probably were, but hey, all is relative...). Granted, I'm not British, so perhaps I didn't use naff correctly, but doesn't it mean bland or lame?
I found you bland and boring, so let's agree to disagree.
My own country were equally boring to outsiders, but I still enjoyed our run, and had fortunes been a little different, then we would have beaten Croatia in the shootout. It's all in the eye of the beholder.
