I feel the exact same way. The only problem being that there's no guarantee that we'll actually go for that elusive cm even if Griezmann doesn't arrive.
It's really odd how the general Barcaforum perception of Eriksen has switched from meh, decent player, but nothing special to suddenly omg, world class - don't let him slip away! over the course of a season - especially so because his level has been more or less consistent over the last 2...
Yeah, Mbappe is decent. Shame he's stuck in a tier 2/3 league for now. Will be interesting to see him prove himself in La Liga once he moves to RM, though.
He's actually gone... Wow.
I'll sort of miss his class - especially so if he gets replaced by an absolutely classless ass clown such as Guti.
I won't miss his black magic voodoo luck, though.
Could we perhaps wait a bit and see if the transfer actually happens, and then see how he does before we call it a bad decision? De Ligt is obviously a huge talent, but he wouldn't exactly be the first great Ajax talent failing to realize his potential...
I'm not entirely sure how good Lenglet...
I've admittedly not seen him play very often, but isn't he more of a luxury 10 who doesn't work that hard? I have a hard time imagining him in midfield - especially so under Klopp.
Edit: never mind, BarçaBarça beat me to it.
Which average overhyped Brazilians did this board sign? Unless you're counting Arthur (which, at this point would be pretty fucking stupid), you're down to Douglas and Marlon, and neither of those were overhyped in the least. Bad, yes, but cheap.
He's easily a 100m player in my book, but his injuries and the fact that he left us back then makes me somewhat iffy about trying to resign him. If Bayern are willing to negotiate, though, I don't think this is a deal that we can afford to let slip. It'll probably end up another summer transfer...
