He definitely needs to stay at Ajax for at least one more season. He impressed so much during his first senior season but the upcoming one will be harder I think. If he keeps up his progress, I could see him leaving in the summer of 18/19.

I don't think he's very good is why. I know he's done really well for Liverpool, but he has nothing that screams world beater potential to me. I also doubt he'd be a whole lot cheaper than Coutinho since he only just arrived at Liverpool with a rather hefty price tag to boot.

He has looked awesome these games. I really hope we manage to thin out our midfield a bit, so that he can get a decent amount of minutes this season already.

The only possible reason I think of starting him tonight, would be because of some sort of contractual obligations stating he has to play a preset number of minutes on the US tour. I hope Ramos, Casemiro and the other goons rough him up something fierce.
