La Liga | Round 23: FC Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 4-2

Yes, would be a great forward line. That kind of wingers would stop teams like Bilbao and Atletico press so high against Barca. Barca really struggled with that.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Between Adama and Dembele the one with the better performances in training should start the games and the other one should be his sub. None of these two is guaranteed to be here longer than until summer, so no point in developing one over the other. Ferran is a different case. He should be ahead...

    Clément Lenglet (loaned to Atletico)

That's the Adama effect. Watch defenders dropping like flies in training now.

    Xavi Hernández

Finishing top 4 in La Liga is way more realistic, that's why Xavi should focus on that. I just don't see Barca getting anything near to a trophy with this backline. Needless to say that EL is not a joke trophy. Some very good teams are playing there in the final stages. Getting past Napoli...

La Liga | Round 23: FC Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 4-2

We have new toys, so the game can't come soon enough for us fans. Shouldn't get too excited though as they had not many training sessions with the team since they've joined. However, I expect an overall better performance against Atletico this time.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Make it happen Xavi, give us the bad boy forward line: Memphis - Bad Boys (feat. Auba & Adama) La Liga & EL ain't ready for that drip.

    Adama Traore

Remember Dembele's skills during his presentation? lol...

    Erling Haaland

Agreed. Get a good winger and wait how Torres develops in the center for another year. Then evaluate things in summer 2023. Tbh I'd like Barca to sign Haaland, but if he signs elsewhere that's the path Barca should follow.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Everybody and their mother is scoring against Barca these days.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The fact that his family is living near Barcelona might give him a mental boost too. Could work out better than we expect.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Respect if he really takes a big paycut to revive his career.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Can make a case of Torres being favored ahead of the rest as he is on a longterm contract, but from the rest the best available should play. None of Adama, Auba (?) and Dembele is guaranteed to be here beyond summer.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Don't really want to discuss about that as I don't know if he got vaccinated. Fact is he got tested positive and said heart issues occurred afterwards.

https://amp.marca.com/en/football/arsenal/2022/01/15/61e2c7c7e2704e39b88b45f0.html Reports later said it isn't that serious, but don't want another Aguero situation here.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Releasing him now saves Arsenal over 20M in the next 18 months of his contract there. That's more than his current market value and if Arteta really 'shits' on him like Koeman did on Pjanic it"s a no brainer for them. Their squad depth is thin though, so some fans might scream. I'm bit...

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

It makes a lot of sense for the wages he is on there. They know that releasing him is a chance they need to take, because no one is gonna buy him. Barca would do the same with Umtiti but unfortunately he won't agree to such a wage cut. Will be interesting to see if Auba does.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Deal might be done 99%, but for summer and not now. Can imagine him going there with Tuchel being his coach. Not all of Pulisic, Werner and Ziyech will stay beyond summer, so it makes a lot of sense for Chelsea. They are a boring side too, so they need the spectacular player Tuchel believes...

Thanks for clarifying. Didn't know that.

Reserved for a 3rd goalkeeper IIRC.
