I remember watching Hazard's youtube compilation and being absolutely amazed at how good he was...He probably would've joined us had chelsea lost the CL final...:(

The only complaint people had over Hazard was whether he could do it in the premier league? If he was a premiership player, his price would've been a lot higher..

Maybe but I'm thinking more along the line of us thinking he's to good to pass up on if the price is 13 million but backing out when we found out that the price was 29 million which is still reasonable for a player of his quality but too much for a luxury signing who's not needed...

I wouldn't say Firmino's a better dribbler because Sterling can dribble with Pace and in terms of close control he is probably among the best in the world alongside the likes of Hazard,Robben etc..He is awful at finishing but we've seen countless examples of players with exceptional talent but...

I'm guessing we were interested in getting him on Cheap but backed out when the asking price reached near £30 million..We already have too many players who excel in the no 10 role and LVG's favourite formation doesn't even use no 10 so something was definitely fishy when we were linked with him...

Firmino is the better player in terms of productivity but Liverpool have too many players who are similar to him so they'll miss the raw pace of Sterling..If I was their manager I'd try to convince Sterling to stay for a season and give his best or get him to sign a contract with a release...
