    Euro 2020 (2021)

He does to some extent, but in the end he is lacking the end product which is something a hybrid winger/forward gets measured by. This is totally fine for Denmark given their supply of players and expectation, but not for a club like Barca.

I doubt selling some asset would help with the salary cap. That ship has sailed on June 30th. The problem are mainly the amortizations of bought players of about 145M. The only way out is selling players like they did with Firpo. It'd be even better if you can sell some of those guys who are...

    8 - Pedri

True. Grass ain't greener on the other side. It would take Thiago to come back for some in here to realise that Thiago is nowhere near the player he was at Bayern in a very strong collective he heavily benefitted from.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Really stupid to record this shit and (probably) send it into an internal chat group. Sometimes friends turn into fiends and then shit like this gets mysteriously leaked some years later. The France national team even argued on the pitch lol

    Matheus Fernandes

Bartomeu should pay him from his own pocket.

    Antoine Griezmann

Why would Pep out of all managers go after Griezmann? He is running a lot and a team player, I give him that. Other than that he has proven that he doesn't really fit into the Ajax/Barca-system since there is no clear position for him. Bullshit rumour imo. If they don't get Kane, they'll go...

The only reason I can think of is that this has something to do with the major loss from 20-21 season. High debt was not a problem as long as EBIT was positive. Now that this figure will be "very negative", this might lower the salary cap in this way until EBIT is in the black again.

It's not that people in here didn't say all these years that what Bartomeu did back then was crazy. I get that there need be rules and regulations, but what La Liga is asking from Barca is beyond all bounds. How can you reduce the salary cap within 1,5 years by such a big margin? Knowing that...

    Euro 2020 (2021)

He always pisses Alba off and gets the best out of him. What a Golazo with magic change of direction. We should consider getting Lucho back. Seems like he has some mojo around him, unlike Barca after him. Zidane's black magic is nothing against that. :lucho:

    Kylian Mbappé

Don't think he is good enough to reach the level of mentioned players. I agree though that he has to move on to grow as a player. He'll win 1 or 2 Ballon D'Ors at max which would already be a great achievement. Competing to win it for almost a decade? I don't think so.

    Antoine Griezmann

EURO 2016 and World Cup 2018 Griezmann was France's main man. They were in the final at both tournaments and Griezmann was very strong. He got Golden Boot in 2016 and Silver Boot in 2018 IIRC.

    Joan Laporta

I'm sure this is true. Those rules where the reason why we didn't get Memphis last autumn. La Liga refused to registrate him.

Poor lad. Rafinha was only signed to please Neymar. Now that Neymar has extended his contract, they don't need him anymore and threw him out like trash.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Old Messi still brings more value to La Liga than Mbappe and Haaland would combined tbh. I agree that the Prem is attracting more and more top players though. It's a pity that South America isn't producing any top talents and potential super stars as these guys prefer Spain over England.
