We made atrocious mistakes for at least 3 of the goals in that game. It was very freakish. All went well for Liverpool and all went bad for us.

As for EV, I don't think that he is a manager who does not understand football. The only problem I see with him is that he does not have the charismatic personality of Klopp, Mou or Pep. But my focus is always on the players, if you have good players, you will get good results.

I think that small LL teams have improved markedly, whereas the big ones dipped a bit. The exact opposite has occurred in the EPL. It was only a few years ago that the EPL was considered to be more competitive while LL was a two-horse race (3 actually after 2013) Now, it is the exact opposite...
