    Luis Enrique

It is one thing to criticize Lucho, fair enough. But people in here are really in the sacking mode (immediately!) and that would be ridiculous. Really, how many coaches it will make after Pep. A coach per year? In that case, we would really turn into Chelski mode after Mou. Valencia and...

CL: Ajax - FC Barcelona 0-2

I took some time and watched this so much discussed and maligned the first half (was not able to watch yesterday) and in retroprospect, we really suffered actually from minute 20 to minute 30 (until that Alba chance created by Messi after some barca vintage move). I can understand the emotions...

Man of the Match 14/15 edition

Messi- still the best on the field (except may be goalie of Celta) Mascherano- did his job perfectly, some of the passing were bit off, still Alba- played pretty decent match

CL: Ajax - FC Barcelona 0-2

Depressing to read this thread. People are really expecting Barca to lose and say that crashing out from CL will make us some good. Are you serious? Some of the posts in here reminds me those guys who went to the parking lot to insult our players after some losses. Is it a fan forum or what...

Lliga: FC Barcelona - Celta de Vigo 0-1

what a meltdown in here. But it was expected, two losses in a row is hard to take. Yeah, a loss against Real was deserved, but today it was not. Certainly, Barca lacked control, but again, with Rafinha-Bus-Rakitic it was a bit expected. Two of them are new to the team and have not really played...

    Ivan Rakitić

There has to be a scapegoat, as always in here. Rakitic should be one of the last, but... He was astounding last year in Liga and Europe League, but for some in here he is not world class for Barca. Bandwagon is stong.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

He trained individually after international duty. Also is doing the same today.

    1. Don- Immense and superb in taking initiative in attack. Precise and decisive, shame that there was no goal after that amazing dribbling 2. Messi- key pass, nice goal. Another day in the office 3. Pedro- yeah, I am giving him that. It was not only tha hard work, but showed sharpness and...

    Claudio Bravo

Do not agree. May be a bit rash decision, but it prevented the attacker to dribble the ball from the grass which also gave an inch of time for the defense and the angle got worse. if had stayed on feet, attacker could have finished between the legs. Definietly not a blunder.

    Jeremy Mathieu

He mentioned that he watched France playing against Azerbaidjan and thought that Mathieu was horrible in that match. Cannot confirm or deny his words did not watch the game but from the result it is a bit harsh opinion.

    Claudio Bravo

It was Alves's blunder to be honest. Watch VIP camera replay, it is too obviuos from there. I agree that his fault was faulty communication with Alves, but as caught in no mans land it was right decision to rush onward and face the attacker. No way he could bactrack from that position after...

Man of the Match 14/15 edition

Messi- the heart says Xavi, but the mind decides Messi. unstoppable in the second half, should have broken Zarra's record but unlucky Xavi- brilliant runs and very decisive passing. Bravo- kept a clean sheet with one fantastic save, deserved it. HM Mascherano

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

I agree that there was a media campaign for him, specially designed to win the prize, but it seems that his advisors/crew etc also reccommended him to stop some antics and he really listened. And I consider that a listening of (good) advice is kind of sign of maturity . But as soon as he got his...

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Started to respect Ronaldo in recent years and it really seamed to me that he is matured, but recent incomprehensible diving, exaggerating contacts, throwing punches against defenders, kicking opposing players sneakingly (the worst kind of sportsmanship, and against, well...bulgarian team). This...

Messi- the best. Simple as that Neymar- well taken goal, but struggled against van der Wiel Xavi- although substitute, still in top 3 performance HM Mascherano in the second half

Champions League: PSG - FC Barcelona 3-2

Overreactions, overreactions everywhere... One of those situations, where missing key players makes an opponent even better, because they know that they cannot rely on their superstar and have to take responsibility, plus, they really played like they have point to prove for the fans and journos...

Man of the Match 14/15 edition

Messi- was everywhere today Neymar- Took his chances, was also a great help defensively and had smth to prove Xavi- a brilliant metronome HM Mathieu- those tackles....incredibly fast for barca defender.

    Lliga: Malaga - Barcelona 0-0

The rigid system is there to provide back-up for fullbacks in case the ball is lost and the opponent tries immediately to pass the ball onto the wing (usually by hoofing). So it may be the thing that you have to sacrifice in order to keep those clean sheets, especially in tricky away games. But...
