    Your emotions towards Rosell

I think Laporta has to be blamed for the bad weather too ...

    Your emotions towards Rosell

I dunno how Laportas 'approach' should matter now, it just seems to be an excuse now used by Rosell. I would imagine the Arsenal board to be able to distinguish between Laporta and Rosell, i.e. even if Laporta somehow screwed it up, i dont see why they should be pissed off by Rosell then ...

should have been adding this to the list of options. Is that btw a good or a rather bad emotion?

    Your emotions towards Rosell

Surprisingly many different opinions here. On a sidenote: ofc he didnt do much to evalute him, but it was just about our expectations and thus emotions about how you think he will be doing. I for my part am pretty irritated so far. He seems to showact a lot, esp. trying to deconstruct Laportas...

    Arjen Robben

Actually the typicall Robben shot is, after a run down the right side, to cut in and takt a shoot with his left into the far corner of the goal. Thats like 90% of his shots easily. And that is pretty much the same with Messi (although Messis runs are usually a bit shorter).

Absolutely true about Ibra. I for myself thought it would work nicely with him. Its still different as Ibra was totally diffrent than Etoo and thus you could only guess how it would work out. Robben however has a very similar style to Messi, thats why he could just replace him and it wouldnt...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Agree on the whole Bayern/Khedira thing. The calculations are debatable b/c they dont take the contract length (or the time that the player is of use to the club, i.e. gives a return) into consideration. For that you would have to alter the calculations as following: Khedira: 52M for 6 yrs =...

That is the thing ... but its not like Robben wouldnt fit.

    Arjen Robben

It seems that after being kicked out of Madrid he has enough of 'bigger' clubs ;) I dunno what oyu have been seeing from Robben lately, but he can take over the same position and tasks as/from Messi. He has the same tendency to drop deep when the opponents are defending tightly, b/c he needs...

Robben wont be leaving munich until hell freezes over tbh ...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

No, Bayern wont offer him 7M a year net, but they will prolly offer him a signing on fee of about 10-15M, the sum RM had to pay Stuttgart for this year. I guess his choice is actually whether he wants to stay for another year in Stuttgart (and missing the CL and prolly some titles for one more...

    Pep's carousel

One interesting thing is Iniestas playing time. Both last year (Gnegs analysis) and the year before (my analysis) he only had 55%. Not a whole lot for a key player and as it was two seasons in a row you cant actually expect sth different for the future. Keep that in mind when considering new...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Schalke is actually piss poor after building a new arena a few years ago. Magath had a hard time getting any money for transfers this year. After weeks of public 'negotiations' between Magath and the club president they finally allowed him to inbest the future CL income of 30M into players...

    Pep's carousel

As i said, i had a similar statistic for the 08/09 season. I did it on a Minutes base, so for those interested:

So what do you think of our new president? How do you rate his actions so far and esp. what do you think of how he will shape the future of the club? So what are your emotions and expectations?

    Pep's carousel

Interesting analysis. I did sth similar for the 08/09 season. About the rotation: we never had backups for Alves and Xavi w/out losing a lot on quality. Puyol just cant recplace Alves as attacking fullback/wingback and no one matches Xavi even closely (which is why we desperately need Cesc)...

    Sami Khedira

Well, i guess we will find out soon. Losing Khedira to RM would mean a massive blow for my fantasy football team, thats why i am so concerned ;)

    Sami Khedira

Ye, that precontract makes a lot of sense for Bayern, so it likely exists. Real is also said to not intervene (anymore) with Bayern here in order to not risk the good relationship between the two clubs. Is that believable?

    Sami Khedira

There are rumors he made a precontract with Bayern a few months ago. Would actually make sense, as i expected him to take over for van Bommel (last year of contract) next season anyway.
