He probably will be in a few years. He turned 22 a couple of months ago, and was part of a squad that collectively had a terrible season. That's the risk you take with bringing on young players into the first team very early. They run hot and cold, and will make mistakes on their way to becoming...
Just being fast isn't enough. It's the ability to run with the ball, spotting the runs of other players as well as space to run into. Last season has lots of great examples of this:
Can't forget that he's 4 years away from hitting his prime, where he'll then be around the same age as Dani...
If they think they're getting a replacement right after selling Bellerin, then they haven't been Arsenal fans long enough. Was it even that long ago that we sold Van Persie, tried to get Higuain, and ended up with Sanogo?
That number doesn't really represent Bellerin's worth, but how much...
Doesn't sound as bad as it was paraphrased on english papers, but I still wouldn't want the club to sign a 30+ year old with attitude problems (unless it's Zlatan)
Why would Wenger sell his only first team RB (who is on a 6 year contract) for 40m? If it's happening, it's going to be a record breaking number, and even then both Barca and Arsenal fans will be angry about it.
Last year, he said that if he isn't good enough for Barca then he ends up at Arsenal. I wouldn't want a player that publicly says we're a fallback. It's true that right now we're a tier below the really elite clubs, but it was a disrespectful thing to say. Besides, he reminds me of a Turkish...
Wenger won't sell without having replacements lined up. The only players that could leave would have to have leverage, like Chamberlain, Sanchez, and Ozil (last year of their contracts). Bellerin HAD leverage 6 months ago, but he chose to sign a 6 year contract instead. Arsenal doesn't have any...
Yeah, more and better quality chances is the best thing about going to a club like Madrid. But with it comes unbelievable pressure, and fans that will whistle and boo under-performing players. All young players eventually go through patches of bad form, and it's hard to recover from a bad season...
This is from an interview Bellerin did with the Daily Mail around 10 days ago:

If Wenger tells Bellerin the team needs him next season, he'll say. Not likely he would put...
The amount of money being talked about is insane. Is Mbappe that good? I haven't followed Ligue 1 for years, so I've been a bit out of the loop.
100+ millions is the amount Ronaldo was worth, and he had scored 42 goals and won the champions league a year before. 15 league goals and 5 champions...
If he wanted to leave, he wouldn't have signed a contract extension in November, and he definitely wouldn't have signed a 5 year extension.
Besides, if we let Bellerin go we won't have anyone left who can play in his position.
Things are bad now, and will probably be worse for a few years, but eventually will get better. It's a bit shit at the moment, but not the end of the world.

Apparently he has been playing with an ankle injury for most of the season, and will need surgery to fix it this summer. Explains what happened to his pace and composure.
He was one of the best players in the bundesliga last year, and Basel's best player when he played for them. Also did this earlier in the season before Wenger ruined him:
It's a Leicester situation now, to be honest. The manager lost the dressing room and needs to go.
Most of those are deadwood that needs to be cleared out (Ramsey, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Sanogo), or players that will have retired by then (Mertesacker, Cazorla). Chamberlain will renew if offered a new deal, or go to a midtable side.
This season can't end soon enough... we can't even string together enough wins for Wenger to feel safe enough to reveal his contract extension (I've lost all hope that he'll leave with dignity) . What a mess.
Alexis and Ozil will definitely leave this summer, but Bellerin signed a new contract recently. There isn't even a replacement either (every time he's injured, a CB is played out of position to fill in for him). The club is a mess right now, but I don't see a fire-sale of players happening.
