    Andrés Iniesta

The whole team lost faith and lacked fight in the 2nd half. You have to understand that there is little to motivate the players in La Liga games from now on. They are no more than dress-rehearsal for the CL. Pep has finally publicly admitted what I have been saying for some time now. Namely...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

It seems that for the past 51 years, we have been quite equal. And we have been on top when Franco's reign is taken out of the equation.

    League Cup

My local team in Cyprus are the exact opposite of Barca. They literally can't string more than 3 passes together, and can't control the ball for shit. They are only good, Walcott-like, when there is space.

    League Cup

People from outside the major Europeans nations are bound to support one of the major European clubs. The vast majority here in Cyprus support one of the English teams. Most go for either Liverpool or Man United. Cypriots who emigrated to England a few decades back, support either Arsenal or...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Real Madrid have won all of their last 32 games. They only failed to do so on 4 occasions. 3 against us :troll: And once in the CL against CSKA Moscow. Now, what can account for this? Can they be ref-powered flat-track bullies? When facing Barca, the cannot win. When the refs are not...

    Xavi Hernández

Dude, I will try and be polite with you. Managers say stuff like that the whole time in order to encourage their young players psychologically. Statements like that are made the whole time, either by managers, or senior players without necessarily reflecting the truth. It's just part and parcel...

    Xavi Hernández

That is your weakest post ever on this tormented forum. When has actually Thiago displayed all those things that you ascribe to him? I seem to have failed in noticing them. Do you think that Pep is so stupid as to underrate Thiago so much? And if Thiago was as great as most on this forum seem...

    Xavi Hernández

You can definitely add it. And see what happens. I was wrong on Biscuits, something that I have admitted on numerous occasions. But wouldn't we be better off with the Yaya?
  9. dalitis8

    Sergio Busquets

No it was not. It was unintentional, and Barca drew no advantage from any contact made.

    Xavi Hernández

I have never seemed to have noticed you. Probably you had nothing of note to say. So you think that Thiago will be a starter for us? Or that he should already be a starter for us? Is that what you are trying to say? Or are you just plain inane?

    League Cup

Yeah. Because I said that the Carling Cup is not a major trophy, or that I am not pleased when my team plays badly, irrespective of the scoreline. You could spare us from your farts.

    League Cup

Nobody laughs at you when you win the CL. In fact everyone is green with envy. But when you win the Carling Cup? This is what happens:

    League Cup

No. I seem to be a demanding fan. When Barca play badly, I say they have played badly and deal with what went wrong (like tonight for example) Demanding fans are the best fans to have. They push a side forward and upwards. If only Arsenal had a few of those.

    Xavi Hernández

Ignore me at your peril. Only time will provide a definitive answer for that, and hopefully we will all be here. For me, the chances of Thiago breaking into the Barcs starting XI are slim to none.

    Xavi Hernández

We can save Xavi for the CL and the Classico. Cesc should start almost all the rest of them. Thiago is not Barca starting material. I have told you on numerous occasions on this forum.
  16. dalitis8

    Pedro Rodriguez

    Should have started this game.
  17. dalitis8

    Xavi Hernández

Have you started watching Barca games this season then? Because he was handsomely better in the previous 3 seasons under Pep. People need to keep in mind that Xavi is no spring chicken. He is 32 and counting.
  18. dalitis8

    Xavi Hernández

If you are terribly pleased with Xavi's performances this season, then ok, he should be starting each and every game.
  19. dalitis8

    Xavi Hernández

Not at his best this season. Should play fewer games from now on. Cesc should be starting more often than him in our classical shape.

    Andrés Iniesta

For me the signing of Cesc was a move designed to help keep our midfield fresh throughout the season, and also provide cover for any potential injuries. I would like to see more rotation by Pep, and less 3-4-3, or Cesc/Iniesta as wingers or false 9s.
