    Ernesto Valverde - V1

You would think that he ordered them to do that is because he pitied his former club and refused to humiliate them further :valverde: I'm just kidding. Results are results though, at the end of the day..

    Negative Thinking Cules

The reasoning for bringing at least Alena (I can sort of agree Mina's sub can backfire) is to develop them, give them a feel of their future and consider the future of their role. I don't mind that we were reserving and playing it safe. That's absolutely fine, but just slightly disappointed that...

    Paulinho

I wouldn't mind playing him in games like this if it means more rest for iniesta, busquets or even rakitic. But.....

    Negative Thinking Cules

Games like this young players should be given chances especially when we're that comfortable. I'm thinking the only real reason they didn't get subbed on is because Valverde just don't know how they fit in his pre-existing tactics that was created by Valverde before the game.

    6 - Carles Alena

Wonderful display by warming the bench for us.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

Bilbao’s form I think tells us how crucial EV was. This game was just eh, comfortable. I would preferred Alena or Mina to come on for player development though.

Lliga | Round 29: FC Barcelona - Athletic Bilbao 2-0

If a young messi(pre 2007) was ever under Valverde, he wouldn’t have even made that classic getafe goal :valverde:

    Mohamed Salah

I think time and time again, people like Pep has said that it isn't fair to compare players like Salah to Messi. But honestly saying I haven't seen a player that set fire upon the league, club and fanbase since Messi did for us; too early to rate where he ranks in the top but no doubt such a...

    Champions League 2017/18

It's always: Bayern/Man City/Chelsea/Arsenal in round 16 or QF. FFS fingers crossed for Sevilla or Roma.

    Sergio Busquets

Giroud has been kicking and pushing him all game. I don't know how can we replace him, he's playing in almost every game!

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

That I can give the madman props for. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy about the result. But I think we can't ignore the midfield woes. Defensively though I'm really impressed.

Which team would you like to face in the Quarterfinals?

To be honest with you, I rather Sevilla or Roma. We need a breather cause the next month/few upcoming weeks will be rough.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

Our midfield looked pretty stiff back there. Conte nearly exposed it. It's really ironic we're playing old chelsea tactics against them. I'm really confused whether I should be happy or worried.

    11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

I'm so happy for the boy. Never late for his first goal, and that tackle on Marcos Alonso in first half was bloody brilliant! He still needs work obviously (especially off ball movement) but he's getting the confidence and Valverde's more confident in him too.

CL | 1/8 Finals: FC Barcelona - Chelsea 4-1 agg.

I would blame the midfield more than the defense. Alba was good, Roberto however keeps getting skinned alive. This game is like we're playing chelsea/defense-counter tactics. I don't know whether to be happy or confused.

    Samuel Umtiti

Umtiti and Pique are rock solid tonight! Masterclass performance.
