i dont understand why we need to buy a third trequartista... seems to me that everyone, inlcuding the club, hates robben... if we play a 4231 then robben and the two signings behind higuain isnt a half bad front four... why do we need to buy ribery for 55 and sell robben for 20 odd... 30m euro...

no point in buying him... ramos offers so much more as a RB... and it would be wasteful to send him to CB... rather than signing maicon, we ought to use the same money to buy a central defender...

what he offered madrid and brazil going forward was simply the best i have ever seen... maldini was infinitely a better defender... but as an auxilary winger nobody could top off carlos... and extreme fitness levels as well... without him, i dont think zidane or morientes would have suceeded to...

as for the defenders, i like carvalho... actually he wud be perfect... complements pepe... very experienced and decent on the ball... and despite being past his peak, still one of the better CBs around... for the fullback, as i mentioned earlier i'd rather have somebody more defensive at LB...

thats still far too attacking, becuz i dont think ribery, cR or kaka are gonna pressurise the opposition without the ball... even in 00-03 era we had makalele with another midfielder to help out (solari, cambiasso, flavio, etc...)... i think only one of the two should come...
