Messi had been superb. It's tough scoring with 11 defenders which is basically happening against each opponent. Whoscored has him as the player with highest performance ratings.

I didn't think much of it when it happened. When I saw the AB players reaction i thought it was due to him falling from the foul. But I guess after hearing luchos comment there may be some unwritten rule about this in Spain. I can see both sides of the argument and not bothered by either.
