Bit of a risk resting both Suarez and Neymar. I think Neymar really should be starting this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Suarez is on the bench for this game. He has played two 90 min games in the last few days and he looked to be a bit jaded against Ajax. I expect him to come on around the 60 min mark.

We looked much better when he played centrally. It reminded me of how we played against Milan two years ago with Messi playing slightly to the right but with complete freedom to roam behind Villa. It seemed to suit all of the front three better so hopefully we see more of it.

I thought we actually played pretty well. We had a bad spell in the first half but otherwise we looked fairly assured. It wasn't an amazing performance by any means but even when we were at our best we would struggle away from home so it was good to get the win.

It's pretty much like having Xabi Alonso in goals.
