I agree tbf, I think Chelsea will walk it this season. You guys have had a great window to compliment an already good team. Then reckon it will be City behind with Liverpool, Arsenal, and after spending all that money, hopefully United, battling for the other CL places.

    Manchester United

Well there as always been quite a lot of anti-United and favourable Liverpool sentiment on here, even from the Barca fans. That said, I agree with that last post, and even the Liverpool players you mention. To be fair United could have a good season and still miss out on top four with how the...

Good luck Danny. He deserved to be starting for United but wasn't so I can't hold it against him for wanting to leave. Genuinely think he'll have a great career at Arsenal now, and I think their fans who have only seen him every now and then will be surprised how good he is. Great move by Wenger.

    Manchester United

I'm as reasonable football fan as you'll find. Just because I happen to think my teams players are a tad above 'low/mid tier' doesn't make me otherwise, and I'm sure most impartial fans would agree with the players I mentioned being better than that. All I said about the list I wrote was, and I...

    Manchester United

Welbeck bad? ...only to those who don't watch him. All things considered, I'd seriously rather be rid of Rooney and RVP than Welbeck. His pace makes him really dangerous and keeps the opposition on the back foot. When he doesn't play we look a different team (and not for the better). Gutted...

    Manchester United

Di Maria and Falcao might be two fancy signings if you want to look at it like that (although very welcome still!), but the other four in Shaw, Herrera, Blind and Rojo are all very much needed. It's not been a perfect window, but it's not been far off. Sure we still have some 'mid-lower tier'...

    Martin Odegaard

Okay fair enough, that I can understand.
  8. Unbiased United

    Arsenal

I'd be gutted if we let Arsenal sign Welbeck, it just makes no sense for us to help a rival finish above us. I really really rate him, and think he'd do great for Arsenal.
  9. Unbiased United

    Martin Odegaard

Yeah because United are just terrible at developing youngsters. Not only that, but we now have a manager who has never brought through any youngsters who then went on to become top players. I'm obviously being very F**king sarcastic on both accounts....
  10. Unbiased United

    Radamel Falcao

Blind is primarily a DM, Rojo primarily a CB. Shaw is the only out and out left back. We should definitely have added another midfielder, but other than that it's been an amazing transfer window for us.

    Manchester United

Another really bad day at the office. Our season starts on the 14th of September though. I refuse to judge the team when we have our first choice right and left backs out, our two first choice center backs out(probably), and our two first choice center midfielders out. Not to mention Januzaj to...

    Manchester United

Have you watched United or United's reserves recently? Wilson is absolutely ripping it up in the u21's. He's just too good for that level, and looked more than ready for first team action towards the end of last season with his brace in his debut. Hernandez on the other and is just terrible...
  13. Unbiased United

    Manchester United

Well it's all about opinions. The point stands though, most of the players who have been ripping it up in the u21's didn't play against MK Dons.

    Manchester United

If they carry on this way we'll be lucky to have any of them available. LVG has just said we have ten players injured. That must be unheard of so early into the season.
  15. Unbiased United

    Manchester United

I disagree about the Rooney/Mata debate, but I agree about Cuadrado. The skill we'd have on the wings with him and Di maria would be such a huge step-up from Young/Valencia I'm not sure my heart could take the excitement.
  16. Unbiased United

    Manchester United

I could live with that team. Whilst not ideal, because I'd like to get Welbeck and Januzaj in there somehow, but with for what we have I think we could do a lot worse than lineup like that. For me though it would be- Rafael - Smalling - Rojo - Shaw -Herrera - Carrick - Welbeck -...
  17. Unbiased United

    Manchester United

I agree about the 4-3-3, but Mata is a better number 10 than Rooney. It would be criminal having a technical ability like his on the bench.
  18. Unbiased United

    Manchester United

What exactly is bollocks? Our u21's are a good team at that level, but that doesn't mean they all are. Janko for example, he isn't ever going to make it as a top player. He looked good for a while due to his physical attributes, but he doesn't even look good enough these days at u21 level IMO...
  19. Unbiased United

    Manchester United

People on here are mocking United after tonight and rightly so, it was shocking. A couple of things to point out though in relation to things mentioned. -The team tonight was full of kids. Some of those kids who don't even look good enough when playing for our u21's. It's not that we couldn't...

    Ángel Di María

Nice letter to the fans there, he seems gutted to be leaving in all honesty. Hopefully it goes well enough at United that he won't be sorry he did.
