Last season his goals and assists contributed directly to 31 points, that is not statpadding but crucial contributions. He has had better seasons but still far and away the best and most decisive player in the league.

And he continues to deliver, not his fault that most of the team around him continues to decline.

His production (46 G + A in 33 games) and his impact on games last year suggest otherwise.

His deal with EA-sports expired 3 years ago i think.
