    Lautaro Martinez

If this is true, it's only a matter of time before this deal is done. I'm pretty sure bartomeu has already bid 70m + Firpo in the past, which is roughly equivalent to 90m
  2. Batistuta9

    Quique Setien

The likes of setien and valverde are not going to cut it anymore. Which winning teams have mid table level managers? We haven't had a manager among the world's best since pep left, that's almost 10 years now
  3. Batistuta9

    Adrien Rabiot

Maybe BBZ was right about him all along 😄. Scored a goal today that our midfielders can only dream of
  4. Batistuta9

    8 - Pedri

I don't think it's a bad idea about the club wanting to keep him next year. If he impresses with the chances he gets given, he could have a run of games like ansu and riqui are this season
  5. Batistuta9

    Lionel Messi - v7

Going by recent games there's a better chance of him getting a goal and a hattrick of assists
  6. Batistuta9

    Miralem Pjanic

Makes me so angry when I remember we've bought pjanic for next season. He's past his best and will end up playing ahead of riqui puig and pedri due to his inflated price tag
  7. Batistuta9

    Mavericky Puig

The technical ability is clear to see and I think he'll be okay despite his small stature. He seems to have a good mentality, he doesn't back out of a tackle and he's winning 50-50s with players that are physically much bigger and stronger.
  8. Batistuta9

    Gabriel Jesus

Suarez is awful now, but he has been the better player for me. Lewandowski is a great forward and a great goalscorer. Suarez though, for a number of years was playing at a level Lewandowski won't reach imo. It's not a dig at lewa, just Suarez was capable of more individually. A bit like how I see...
  9. Batistuta9

    Gabriel Jesus

Ah okay. Now it makes sense. I was thinking what the hell has he done to become a top 10 striker in the world.
  10. Batistuta9

    Gabriel Jesus

I'm curious to know, the guys that rate Gabriel Jesus, do you rate lautaro? To me their game is very similar. Their build, work rate, are streaky goalscorers and even goal to game ratios this season are almost identical
  11. Batistuta9

    Antoine Griezmann

He hasn't got the game to lead the line by himself. His best football has always came alongside a physically stronger striker, Diego Costa and giroud for example. Playing him close to Suarez will bring out the best in him. No point really playing him at LW as he can't beat a man
  12. Batistuta9

    Lionel Messi - v7

Thanks for the info. Not surprised, Henry was amazing in the early 2000s
  13. Batistuta9

    Lionel Messi - v7

Has anyone ever got 20+ goals and 20+ assists in the same season. Could be another record to add to his collection
  14. Batistuta9

    Lionel Messi - v7

I thought Ronaldo didn't score a freekick for about 2 years?
  15. Batistuta9

    10 - Ansu Fati

Okay mate, it's fine, if you aren't impressed with fati then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Most of the users see potential. Give the kid some time, he's only 17
  16. Batistuta9

    Clément Lenglet (loaned to Atletico)

I've liked him since he first joined. Even though he isn't one of the world's best, he's one of those reliable, low maintenance players that just gets on with their job
  17. Batistuta9

    Lionel Messi - v7

Shame about the freekick not going in. It's been a while since he last scored one
  18. Batistuta9

    Antoine Griezmann

I agree, might as well experiment now as the league is lost. Hopefully we can find a system that will help us in the CL
  19. Batistuta9

    10 - Ansu Fati

It doesn't matter if he becomes faster or not. From what I've seen of him so far, he knows how to use what pace he has. Pace isn't everything - Walcott couldn't beat anyone for example
  20. Batistuta9

    Trincão

I like him, he seems a clever player. Even if he doesn't play at first, we need someone to play RW once Messi leaves/retires. Kid is only 20 years old and can adapt to Barca at his own pace
