It wasn't all about playing time, money and prestige is just as important for mercenaries.

    Thiago Translantara

Exactly. More money and he goes to the team that will probably win it all next season. Even if he doesn't play a big role, he really wants to be part of the "best" teams.

If Isco was worth 30 millions, I don't see why Thiago should be worth more than 30-35. It wasn't a bad deal if you think about it.

I think differently, a team like Bayern could coach itself. That's how good they are.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I'm just afraid that we will miss out on Marquinhos and then have to deal with an old, injure prone Thiago Silva in 2 -3 years. By then, Marquinhos would be considered among the best defenders in the world and PSG would never sell him b.c of his young age.

Vote of no confidence against Rosell?

Do you also have the information about who's idea was to sign Beckam?

Vote of no confidence against Rosell?

Rosell wasn't president so I don't see why he would disagree. It wasn't in his hands to pick the players but just suggest them. But everything was up to laporta. i'm just tired of the fans believing that Laporta was some type of Saint and Rosell is the devil and he's all about marketing. I...

Vote of no confidence against Rosell?

Both Barca and Madrid wanted Beckam ( Florentino wanted him b.c of his market value more than anything else). Before being elected (If I remember correctly) laporta promised he would sign David Beckam as part of his new project ( candidates to the presidency usually promise to bring certain...

Vote of no confidence against Rosell?

Laporta wanted and promised to get David Beckam . It was only after madrid got him that Rosell through his connections got a hold of Dinho.

    Xavi Hernández

I did stay on topic. Someone above me asked if Pep was invited. What I said about Pep was also part of the topic b.c i gave reasons as to why Pep might not show up. Also, criticizing Pep doesn't mean I'm hating oh him.

    Xavi Hernández

I was answering the question of whether Pep was invited or not.... no need to take me seriously on this one lol.

    Pep Guardiola

After Pep's explosive comments against Barca, many things are coming to surface. 1) The journalist who asked Pep the questions about him and barca's management came from a friend of Guardiola. 2) His name is Matias Manna. he's an argentinian reporter and Pep's friend. He's author of the book...

    Xavi Hernández

He probably was invited, but if I was him, I too would be ashamed of attacking Barca's managerial infront of the entire world and on top of that taking a canterano with me. (therefore I wouldn't show up). He worked it all out perfectly. "People will critizise me for taking thiago.... what can...
