Koeman is not one of those managers who have a bias towards experience. He's given chances to basically every youngster except for Puig.
He doesn't seem to rate Puig at all.
His movement was good, and got him into the goalscoring positions. That's something this team is sorely lacking.
Reminded me a bit of Sanchez in his first two seasons. Good movement, gets into goalscoring positions, but can't finish for shit.
Not sure why Koeman's going back to the 4-3-3 but putting out a full strength lineup.
Maybe he thinks 4-3-3 without Umtiti is better than 3-5-2 with him.
I never said anything about whether we should get him or whether he's a tactical fit. I just said he's not Griezmann 2.0 because he wouldn't have the insane price tag. There are better analogies to make.
I'm talking more about pure 10s like Ozil who just stay up the field and provide assists. You need more to your game now.
I see Mueller as more of a second striker.
Take all transfer stories with a grain of salt right now. The rumor mill is working over time since Barca just got a new president.
As summer gets closer we'll get more of an idea as to what Laporta is really planning.
