    Luka Modrić

I've been a Barca fan since Hristo Stoichkov first came to Barca, and i've never had any sympathy for any Madrid player in any capacity during all this time. If a Madrid player stands to win something, i'll root against him, no questions asked. But i would lie if i said that Modric having the...

    World Cup 2018

Modric has been at worst, Madrid’s second best player in the last five years in which they won 4 CL. He’s by far Croatia’s best player. When such a player wins the CL and the World Cup in the same year while being irreplaceable in both teams, yes, he deserves to win the Ballon. We saw today...

    World Cup 2018

Modric is not losing the Ballon D’or if he plays well and Croatia wins the World Cup. Best midfielder in the world with a Champions League title and a World Cup win? Being a key player for both? Now whether Croatia wins is another matter.

    Uruguay

Had Atleti won the CL league titles they should have won in 2014 and 2016, Godin would have been considered the best defender in the last 7-8 years. Unbelievable player.

    Luka Modrić

If Croatia wins the World Cup while Portugal loses in the 1/8 finals (or loses to Iran) he's winning it.

Brutal start by Benatia...how Pepe survived is a mystery

    World Cup 2018

The level of flopping is unbelievable. These guys have zero toughness and even less integrity. A little slap to the side of the head is now a life threatening injury.

    World Cup 2018

This is yet another example of why stats never show the whole story and it concerns both Cr and Messi. How many times have they played the perfect pass but the receiver cant score a 1-on-1 vs the keeper? Messi basically doesn’t have a World Cup because of this.

    Gerard Piqué

Huh? Lewandoski never scored over 36 goals in a season for BVB. He has scored 42 in 2016, 43 in 2017 and 41 in 2018, including 22 in the last three CL seasons. He absolutely is World class. 2015 was his only bad season in the last 7 years or since he became a starter at BVB.

    Cr150

At this point, it's completely ridiculous to say ''he has diminished the distance between him and Messi''. He's almost certainly winning another Ballon D'or which will put him at 6 to Messi's 5. He has 5 Champions League titles with two different teams and three in a row when no team has...

    Copa del Rey 2017/18

Anyone with more than two brain cells knew the level of historic luck it took Real to win those champions league titles. There hasnt been a more fluke generation in the history of sport. Completely dominated by a reserve BVB team with frickin Milos Jojic, Friedrich and company, scoring against...

**EL CLASICO** Lliga | Round 17: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 0-3

Messi, Roberto, Pique, Paulinho, Ter Stegen had excellent games while Iniesta, Suarez, Vermaelen, Rakitic and Busquets all had their moments. To be honest i can't quite remember the last time when we played Real(or any big team for that matter) where we didn't have an obvious weak link.

    Paulinho

We could and would have beaten Atletico had he played at least a full half, had a great game against Olympiacos and then he stays on the bench so Rakitic can play. Truly appealing squad selection by Dumbverde.

Having 14 players on the field for 90/120 minutes helps as well.

    La Liga 2017/18

What do you mean ''no''? Both posts are identical, i just didn't include the Villareal draw. 8 games to go:3 straight defeats then 5 straight wins.

    La Liga 2017/18

We were up 10 points with 8 matches to go, and then we lost to Real, Valencia and Sociedad and the lead crumbled to a single point so we had to win all of the 5 remaining matches to win the title. Thankfully we did.
