So what? That was in the past and has no bearing on the here and now. They are both liabilities and should be sold for the good of the team. Football isn't about sentiment and teams evolve over time. We should be phasing out the senior players, but we stick with a moron for a coach and an ageing...

We don't have world class talents in each position at all. Ter Stegen, Pique, Alba and Messi are all world class but the rest are certainly not. Some are merely a shadow of their former selves and should be moved on for the good of the team.

Exactly this, we have far too many older players as it is. Adding another is not a good idea, especially another one who wont fit.
