    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Was surprisingly poor yesterday but he's the best number 9 in the world, hands down. Very glad to have him.

    Pep Guardiola

Great start to the season with City! And they are playing very good football. It will be a big challenge to play against him in the CL.

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

He's probably going to win the Ballon d'Or. His individual statistics were better than Messi's and his collective titles are more important. European Cup + Champions League > La Liga + Spanish Cup + Spanish Super Cup in my opinion. I expect this season to be the worst for him as he ages and his...

    Gerard Piqué

It's amazing how dangerous he can be in attack! He's not the best CB in the world but most of the time he's decent. He needs to form a relationship with Umtiti. His injury definitely hurt our form. I hope they can build an instinct in playing together as it is our only hope in having a stable...

    André Gomes

It's nice to see a tall player in Barca, someone who has a physical presence both in the midfield (with and without the ball) and in the box. His movements kind of remind me of Yaya. His technique with the ball is limited and he keeps it simple (probably should) but I think he can be a valuable...

    Arda Turan

He's definitely more suited to the flank. At CM he can't dictate the pace of the game nor give the final-third pass. He needs to be further up close to the goal. He has found his confidence again and with the playing time he's getting I expect him to become more valuable as the season goes on.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

He isn't playing very well lately but considering everything going around his life (tax issue, criticism in Brazil, weight of responsibility, match time/tiredness, etc.) I don't think it's not to be expected. He's a very electric player and will soon regain form to be one of our key contributors.

    Paco Alcácer

Not because of his poor form -- because he will score sooner or later and isn't a bad player -- but I just don't think we needed him. And 30 million euros. Would have gotten a very decent CB for that money.

    Sergio Busquets

Busquets broke his finger away to Eibar last season and ever since he hasn't been able to find the rhythm nor the confidence to do his job well. Someone wrote he's missing Iniesta. May probably be it.

    Luis Enrique

There will always be ups and downs for a coach, but statistically and trophy-wise, Lucho is the most successful Barca manager of all times. Full stop. It remains to be seen how his tenure will conclude.

    Andrés Iniesta

Iniesta doesn't have the freshness anymore. He can be decisive in some moments in a game but generally not very strong, especially in creating space, chances and making the final pass -- let alone his magnificent runs. He's still pretty good but it's time to think for a long-term replacement. I...

    Claudio Bravo

Haven't followed him much since he went to City but I liked him very much at Barca. He was generally solid and without Ter Stegen's shenanigans. But he wanted to leave and the Club was right to cash in on him.

    Ivan Rakitić

Hopefully he'll get some good rest before upcoming games. He has been key since he arrived.

    Jeremy Mathieu

All fun and games, but Mathieu is simply not good enough to play for Barca. Hoping for a decent CB in January though it's a difficult transfer window.

    Sergi Roberto

A surprisingly poor performance last night but it's only a blip as he has done really well at RB and should be kept there for the time being. Bellerin in the long-term is a good choice.

    Lucho takes the blame

No point to rest players before international break. Just go full strength and hope for the best. Mathieu shouldn't even be a substitute; he's simply not good enough to play for Barca. We keep having defensive problems for years but never really address them. Maybe in January we can go in for...

This defeat doesn't mean a lot. Still way too much football to be played.

Liga | Round 7: Celta de Vigo - FC Barcelona 4-3

Poor performance, considering the defeat from last year and not making any serious effort to avoid same mistakes. To concede 4 goals against a mid-table team is inexcusable. Of all the strong teams in Europe Barca has the weakest defense and isn't doing anything about it.
