In the first half he barely touched the ball, Villareal as a whole were disastrous. In the second half he was much better: good passing and dribbling, drawing fouls, crossing improved and delivered the assist for the equaliser. Could've had two more assists.

I hope he won't rely on his physique too much during his development, that would not be beneficial for him in the long run. That's why he should be promoted to Cadet level.

I don't think you're right about how he isn't a specialist in any specific skill. I think he's somewhat of a Lahm type of player at LB. He's not exceptionally fast like Bellerin or Alba, but he still has some considerable pace. His crosses and linkup play with wingers are both great and will...

Played a great game, stat-wise. Wasn't able to watch his performance, but this shows some promise. I hope Lucho will develop the balls to play him in the Liga, I'm certain Samper can handle it.

Bilbao at home is in the top 3 of most difficult games in Spain, even Barça's best 11 struggle there. A weak performance was to be expected. I'm glad he had some good moments, incosistensy at that age is a certainty, especially for a player like him.

Next season Celta maybe? Certainly a better team than Gijon (with all due respect). If Barça gets Nolito, Alen could take his place.
