Why some people are bitching about the "performance" today is totally beyond me. It was effectively Xavi's testimonial game plus a celebration match of winning La Liga, PLUS we have 2 rather important games left (unless you didn't know), hence the huge squad rotation. Fantastic day at Camp...

Problem is... he wouldn't sit there all serious if say we scored etc, he'd struggle to hide his emotions.And that would be picked up by numerous cameras. Disappointing, but think I understand his reasons.

That's a nice touch.Will be an emotional send off, especially with him lifting La Liga trophy for the last time. It's obviously sad he's leaving, but what a finish it would be for him to win the treble (again) in his last few games of his career ? If Carlsberg did "send offs", they couldn't top...

Juve did look out of sorts tonight, Pogba wasn't match fit and Pirlo looked all of his 36 yrs for the majority of the game, but later on he still showed his class with some great forward passes. They will have Marchisio and Morata back for the final too.They will give us a game, am sure of that.

Guys, it's all well and good saying players need to stay sharp, but consider this... Suarez is already injured, although am not sure how bad he is.Imagine if Messi or Neymar got injured against Depor ? It's really not worth the risk in my opinion. We have been extremely lucky with injuries...

Am just concerned about injuries to be honest, with the two finals coming up we should seriously rotate the team, imho. I don't see that anything else matters. EDIT; looking at some of the celebrations after the Atleti game, Pique may well still be drunk !

From what I've seen of him, he's really not that great. If he leaves L'pool after turning down £100k a week then good luck to him, but I suspect his career will go downhill from then on.
