    Danilo Luiz da Silva

Isn't Coentrao mentally unstable and very injury prone though? I could have sworn last time I check, he had a breakdown of some sort after his dad's death. He is also outrageously injury prone and was a complete bust for Madrid with the exception of that good 3 month stretch.

    Isco

We'll have too see how Isco is treated now that James is back. A player of his caliber can't be on the bench. Plus he probably only went to them for the insane amount of cash they gave his dad. We could definitely bring him here if he were to go to another team first for a season or two.

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Carlo can't be that dense. He knows he'll have to drop one of BBC,preferably Bale, and clog the midfield. If he doesn't, than thats the political pressure of playing Bale not because he doesn't realize what he has to do.

    Spain

LOL so true. But as a South American, I'm glad he didn't. We have to stick to our roots :messi:

On form, Pepe and Varane are much better. Ramos can have fantastic displays of defense but often it happens after he causes goals. Just watch El Clasico again. He was directly responsible for both goals.

    Penal Madrid

Alves was a beast back in the day an still churns out some good performances but come on. The guy is at the end of his career while Carvajal is just beginning his. We can't compare the two right now.

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

Imo, I'm pretty sure this is the beginning of Carvajal on the bench. You can't forget who actually runs Madrid. Florentino Perez does not give a crap about being Spanish or from the academy the way most other teams do. If Carvajal was the RB they wanted to proceed with, they wouldn't have...

    David Alaba

Yes. Its his knee and the Austrian NT doctor said he could miss 6-8 weeks. We'll have to wait for the final diagnosis though. I feel like this is the exact same situation with Thiago. He got injured like 3 days after coming back as well. Grant it Alaba has been playing for about 3 months now but...

Oh Dunga taking advice from Luis Enrique? LOL

    Wesley Sneijder

Yes this is very true. One of the guys on World Football Phone In is a massive Turkish league fan and he makes it sound like such a great league that I've started watching some games. Still a good experience for a player even if they don't play on La Liga or EPL.

    David Alaba

I thought it was suspected knee ligament tear? He was rubbing his knee but they won't know for certain. Sucks for him if true. His season is over all because of a friendly. Wasn't his last injury from a friendly as well?

    Wesley Sneijder

He probably gets paid a ton of money in Turkey though so I'm not surprised. Plus hasn't he had a major early decline? Don't blame him for taking an easier road after having won as much as he has in his club career.

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

Madrid media seem stoked but they'll probably turn on him once Carvajal hits the bench. Isco is also Spanish but when James comes back, he'll be back on the bench. Perez doesn't operate in the same manner our club does. He doesn't give a crap about being from Spain or from the youth academies.

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

If I were on our board, I'd say we look into Mayke. Also Brazilian and is rumored to be on his way to Portugal this summer. We could buy him in the summer and have him train with us but not play him until the transfer ban is over. Or just loan him to Cruziero.

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

Maybe its just me but hasn't Carvajal been a bit average this year? Maybe its because he has no competition but he hasn't been as impressive as he was last season to me. Of course he has had some good games this season and he is still young but maybe Madrid don't see him as their RB of the...

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

I have said before he doesn't wow me but he does have potential to get better. He is much more adept at attacking but I saw his best defensive game against France with Brazil last week so he does have it in him to reign it in. I would have gone for him to be at Barca and be Alves replacement in...

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

LOL yea Florentino doesn't give a crap. Probably thought a player who only cost 6.5 million Euros should not be a starter for Real Madrid.

    Danilo Luiz da Silva

This sucks smh. This is my I hate Madrid with a passion sometimes. They don't need another RB of Danilo's stature smh. They only brought him so we couldn't.

    Brazil

Marcelo was ok but maybe on the below average side. Definitely didn't go forward at all. I do think he isn't the LB for Dunga's system. Maybe he should be used as a midfielder like Dani Alves was during Dunga's first tenure for a creative outlet. Filipe Luis is just not the answer for the team...

    Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior

Then Dunga needs to learn how to sub better. Brazil was up 2 goals to France by the 70th minute of the game yet Dunga still waited until the last 5 minutes to give players time. And to be honest, the only player of the subs who has quality enough to be a starter is Coutinho. He should be playing...
