The first half was good and Suarez played on of his best games of the season. Coutinho was good for his standards. I think a better teams ties the game in that 2nd half though. You can't come out playing like that against better teams. I still don't have confidence in Barca winning Champions...

Couldn't watch the game but with 3 important games coming up I don't know how Valverde didn't give key players some rest. They end up playing 5 games in 2 weeks.

They probably will win in Barcelona but this team is not beating any of the big teams going forward.

That first half was the worst play of the season. Suarez is horrible right now. This team is not winning Champions and could maybe lose La Liga too. TBh, i'll take if that's what it takes to get valverde out.

This is team is gassed and Suarez said as much in his post game interview. Another year that Valverde doesn't learn how to properly rotate players. This team might even drop la liga with how they are playing right now.

Valverde is not exactly a master strategist. Exhibit A: The Roma game He should play in the middle with busi and arthur.

I'll keep playing him there though, until he gets it right.

I'm about done with coutinho, it's almost like playing with 10 when he is out there. Can't even get good shots off.

Semedo had his best game at Barcelona. Really upped his level these last couple of months.

And they might beat Lyon with this lineup but with Sergi Roberto at RB they aren't beating any top teams. Liverpool would score 3 on this defense. Especially with the slow midfield.

I like SR as a mid but as I've said the last few years. Barcelona are not winning the UCL with him at RB. He always gets exposed against better teams. Semedo might be limited offensively but he is better defensively than SR and with his speed can recover from mistakes.

0-0 was the best they could hope for with this lineup. The Dembele injury really came at a bad time. I know he came on in the 2nd half but Coutinho was bad again, I would like to see him play a bit more in the middle. He seems to get lost playing on the wing.

The lineup is solid in mid and back. Valverde is hoping he can keep it a draw and then probably send out coutinho and suarez in the 2nd half.

So does he play more of a defensive mid position? I don't envision Arthur playing in Busi's spot so wondering who they plan on using there in a couple of years.
