Hopefully so given how he handled Pena vs Tek situation. Given he's german, he should know Statues shortcomings and why he never played for ze german NT even with broken Neuer best of all.

Even this season he did a lot to cost the game vs Monaco. He's yet to have a memorable (in a good way) CL knockout performance after 10 years at the club

As said just about all the top GKs are having CL clangers unless win it.

Ederson, Allison and many other names held up as the best been having them also.
