1 - Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Szczesny said the reason he retired was his head wasn’t in it anymore, he said his body was still at a high level but he wanted to leave and spend more time with family. When he came out of retirement he said “if you say no to Barça it’s because you don’t have the balls or bravery for a challenge like this”. His head is in it again and honestly him being only 34 is still really young for a goalkeeper. Hope he stays for a few years. I respect Ter Stegen and the effort he did for the club but Szczesny is the perfect permanent replacement.

Hope Hansi is smart enough

Marc-André ter Stegen can still be registered for the Champions League this season. UEFA have confirmed that once he's medically cleared, Barça can reinstate him, but only by replacing Szczęsny. The club must notify UEFA 24 hours before his return. @didacpeyret, @scapde_45

For sure. If he was the keeper today we would have lost.

If he makes it back this season and he gets to start the important matches it’s gonna be an absolute calamity.

But seriously though.

With his age and injury history it would be wise if the club nudge him in the right direction.
He can go to Italy or back to Germany for a top four club probably and still be in contention to start for Germany in 2026.

Meanwhile we can roll on with Tek + Joan Garcia or another GK signing for the future.

A retired GK is levels above him in the big games, tells you everything about why we became a laughing stock in Europe.

Hope we never see him again standing in goal for Barca.

A retiree comes back to save us and serves us a better performance in one CL KO game than this guy has mustered up in the last 10 years.

IN. THE. MUD.

I just know that when Cubarsi saw red, this guy would conciede the freekick and at least 3 more.
