His refereeing was terrible in the second half, but still, you won, you got the 3 points you needed, be a damn grownup like everybody else and leave.

No, someone has to speak against these kind of stuff, as they happen way too much. Barça already has an omissive president, I'm glad at least one of our captains complain.

Someone, yes. Not Valdes, though. And not during/after a game. These things need to happen off the pitch. And they need to be said by someone who doesn't have a record of getting suspended for insulting a referee.

He didn't insult him, did he? I see no problem with Valdes or Xavi, Puyol doing it, as there's no one else to do it.

You're not getting my point. Valdes has a history of bad behavior towards referees and as long as it's coming from him, it's going to be disregarded. If FCB wants to express dissatisfaction with referees in La Liga, these things need to be taken care of by someone who is respected by referees and the football public in general, and they need to be done officially, through press conferences or whatever... not by making sarcastic comments after the final whistle.

Sure, it should. But his comment has the media and fans talking about it. It's better than nothing, as nothing would be what we'd have.

We've doubted him and loved him... but Valdes remains a superb goalkeeper and one who has saved our asses more often than I can remember.
