Dude has to have the season of his life right when he's about to leave :(
Maybe that's exactly because he's leaving he's having the season of his life, not so big pressure. And even if he stayed there wasn't anything sure next season so, let's give him all the credit he deserves for this season and wish him the best but after that look forward..

Yeah, I have a feeling it will play out just as we expected...The rumours in the past week or so about Ter Stegen did give the impression that the climax was near

I'm sad that he's gonna leave right after having the season of his life, but yes, we gotta look forward. Ter Stegen has a shitload of potential and should be a good replacement. Assuming we get him, of course.

Valdes: "I feel great. I've totally recovered from my calf injury. If the coach wants, I could be back for the game against Elche." #fcblive

Valdes: "Next club? No decision yet. Should respect Barça, players of the club I'll join... Won't do anything that goes against the club."

Valdes: "I hope Barça find a good successor. I'd like it if it's a homegrown player, but I'll always respect Barça's decision." #fcblive

Valdes: "I feel there's a campaign ongoing to damage Barça. We have to be united and all go in the same direction." #fcblive

Valdes: "I have several offers, my agent is looking at them, but I have not yet made a decision on my future club." #fcblive

"It'd have been a huge error if Iniesta wouldn't have stayed. His renewal is the best news of the season. He's like a brother to me"

He should have said that to Faus and Messi..

You can't fault Messi in that situation, I feel...Club, apart from hanging him out to dry with Faus' idiocy was pretty tepid in their response to the allegations against Messi...Gotta think Laporta would've been much more forceful and timely in addressing this conspiracy to undermine the player

I can't suffer Rosell. he's the main reason why Pep left. Same goes for Valdes

I want Laporta back. He's the man.

I completely agree..but as much as I love VV, I can't take him seriously when he says that there's a campaign against Barca or that we should be united because:

1. the biggest problems we had were always self inflicted
2. historically, Barca was never an united club and even when we won the CL there were always problems: in '92 Cruyff and Nunez were already atacking each other, in 2006 Rosell was atacking Barca in the middle of a CL SF, in 2009 we were almost without a president and Cruyff was the devil for the catalan press and socios and in 2011 Rosell was atacking Cruyff and Laporta and saying that that Pep wasn't friends with them(not to mention that this year, after all we had to suffer from Mourinho, Rosell said that Mou's actions amused him)

Also as much as you love Laporta, don't forget that he was bathing in champagne and that because of him Rosell has to make black&white photocopies.

I want Laporta back. He's the man.

You have to understand that Grupo Godo won't allow this to happend..and that's why they were atacking Pep even when he was in NY..our best bet is for a new candidate in 2016, someone who isn't close of Cruyff or Godo. But I just don't see him at the moment.

Look, my opinion is that when there's money, especially big money, controversy & corruption ensues....Regrettably, it's common in just about any sector of humanity...Football, even at a club like Barcelona, is not immune

You'd never catch me claiming Laporta is not without his flaws, he is a politician & lawyer after all...However, I do believe he had the club's best interests at heart along with Pep....It's true, especially, for those who are bandwagoners, we have a history of some stupidity that is hard to fathom even years later at Barcelona.

Perhaps it was naive on my part but the best part about Laporta & Pep's era was that we were seeing the club clean up it's organization, insulate itself from attacks, both internal & external, and focusing on the football & academy...Just as there are merits to Rosell's regime but his negatives are far more dangerous to the club's sporting future, IMO...Leo hit it on the head, if you insist on going down the road of being some corporation then you're not really embracing the ideals & philosophy of the club

And we know why Rosell was out of color ink, btw

Victor Valdes (31) has a formal offer from Monaco. He's also Man City's first option in case they would decide to sell Joe Hart. [marca]
