Strange that he didn't even mention Tata. Disrespectful, really. He could have at least thanked him for their short time together or something like that.

Yeah it wasn't a matter of forgetting or mistake, it was deliberate. Still though, like jamjamjam says the drama will soon be unfolding.

He said goodbye to Tata in person. He addressed the people he couldn't in the letter. Or he had nothing special to say about him. Sometimes it's best to say nothing, than to force something not sincere.

Exactly.

Strange that people are blaming him for leaving the club like this. Its not like he's going to Monaco. He's going to start the 2nd part of his rehab in Germany. He's injured for god's sake. If he could, I'm sure he would have stayed till the last match. And he's going to Germany with the Team Doctor.

Do you really think it was impossible to schedule his departure for Sunday/Monday? This was on purpose.

I find it crazy that he decided to depart before the last game. Someone must've done real harm to him emotionally for him to take such an action. VV seemed like a guy that was devoted to the club. I'm very surprised that this is not a bigger news story. It just shows how underrated he really is by the mass media and perhaps the Barca fans too.

It mostly shows how the media is controlled by the board. For all the bullshit Mundo Deportivo & Sport publish you'd think they'd find some crap to write about this Valdés situation but no.. they rather make headlines about selling Messi. This is not the first person that leaves the club with a bitter taste in his mouth but still there's people claiming that everything's fine.

What a pathetic piece of "journalism" from MD. They're saying that Valdés isn't all that good, that he benefitted from Barça's system and that he only played for Spain because he was at Barça. They also call him a parasite. Disgusting.

And they're also blaming Zubi for not trying to sign Courtois (from Chelsea of all teams!!!) even though the ter Stegen deal is already done and for not liking David Luiz.

Didn't even bother to read Sport's bit.

The way this Courtois campaign is dragging on even though it's been clear ter Stegen already signed the contract for weeks is so senseless. What do they expect? Pressuring Zubi to get Luiz is one thing but the Courtois story is a dead end, completely stupid.
