I don't understand why Manchester City would want him. They already have a top class goalkeeper in Joe Hart.

Monaco for the :greedy: :greedy: :greedy:

Edit: Although it would be interesting to see him at Liverpool.

Mignolet is a solid keeper so a move to Liverpool makes little sense.

If Valdes does actually go to City the media are going to give him such a hard time, especially on Sky. There'll be a campaign from the very start to attempt to prove that Joe Hart is a better keeper than him.

With the amount of shit he's had to put up with during his career with us, I believe he should be able to cope.

... I really hope he doesn't go to a terrible excuse of a club such as City, though.

He has a press conference now. Any news? What's the subject?

Valdes: "Atletico are a tough opponent, they showed it's very difficult to beat them. They're very intense. If we play our game, we can win"

Valdes: "It would be really great if Martino could continue. It would be the right decision. I like his way of training and coaching."

Valdes: "The game on Sunday will possibly be my last game at the Bernabeu wearing the Barça shirt. Hopefully we can take the three points."

Valdes: "When will I announce my new club? That moment will come, but for now I'm focused on performing as good as I can for Barça."

Valdes: "England an option? I follow EPL for years, but I also follow other leagues. I've always liked the way they play in England though."

He was on fire in the first part of the season, and when that silly injury happened, I was worried he wouldn't go back to his beastly form. Luckily I was wrong. :) He's still doing great!

Barçapocalypse NOW!
He tried the Hollywood save on their first goal and it kinda backfired... But he had some other crucial saves, so overall I'd say he did well... Good game...

That did not look good at all.
Landed awkwardly while reaching for the ball, knees were stretched and external pressure of his whole weight was stressed on his knees, the right one obviously generated pressure the most.
The worst case scenario is VV being diagnosed of having teared one of knee's ligaments and out indefinitely. :(
