Valdes is a very average keeper. He gets challenged so little we overlook this over and over again. Yes I am bitter because we lost but it is true. Valdes does some pretty amazing saves do but nothing not expected from the keeper of the alleged best team in the history of football. No wonder he isnt number one for spain. He will never be. Casillas is so much better its not even funny.

That's bullshit. In the last few years Valdes' had a spectacular low ratio of errors in his game. He was flawless for WEEKS and it's NOT true he was "challenged a little". He was challenged enough to prove he's not average and he passed the test. You're talking an absolute crap right here, get your shit together. Or at least get some sleep before speaking after such a heavy defeat.

But every so often Exxon-Valdes shows up, and the results are well, this. The disturbing thing is that it seems to happen frequently against Madrid.

Valdes has improved long time ago. It's just that he still shows his brainfarts once in a while. That's exactly the reason why he was never considered a top top GK in the game despite having some heroic reactions as well. His mistakes this season was more than previous seasons and it played its part in how Barca's season went.
