10 - Ansu Fati

Reportedly healthy and yet has played less than 200 minutes of football under Flick in all competitions this season.

No wonder SPORT came out with another "trusted source" article Ansu told his agent to find him a club for a transfer. It's common sense, but things are a bit more complicated with the stellar contract until June 2027. Another loan move with freshly promoted EPL club is more likely.

Deco will need to do some work this summer. Few other situations to deal with too without getting into possibly signing someone.

Serdar Adali, Besiktas President on the failed Ansu Fati transfer, as reported by @Mariio_RB [md].

🗣️: “Ansu Fati was part of our plans, along with Patrick Berg and Samuel Dahl. After our Europa League match against Twente, I was ready to bring him to Istanbul. We had even reached a transfer agreement with Barcelona. The player was excited, and we had also spoken with his father. But on the night we were knocked out of the tournament, we were informed that Fati wouldn’t be joining us. Our exit from Europe ended all the arrangements.”

He was told he was not a part of their plans in January and was implored to find a new club, even for a loan.

I understand the frustration, but he has no one to blame but himself. If he was not trusted at Brighton due to his poor work rate and performances how did he think it would go here?

Making a cunt of himself.

He isnt good enough and was told so.

That frustration only extends as far as his huge contract though.

I do think he should be given some minutes to be honest, I don't know what the club is doing (as I doubt it's down to Flick, they probably told him not to play Ansu)

If he's frustrated it means he think he can play. Okay then, give him a chance and let's see

Another option in attack would be pretty valuable right now with the crazy schedule, especially someone who can actually play on the wing

When he came on vs Dortmund, nothing convinced me he can't get 10-20 minutes here and there

How is he valuable when he plays as if he's some star forward and doesn't even work in defense. Guy probably thinks the 10 on his back means something.

Pau Victor is probably better than him.

If wasn't for his stellar contract that runs out in 2027, he'd be long gone from the club. Flick told the press he demands more of Ansu in training and it landed on deaf ears. He will simply milk the club for money for career's sake.

Might also be the case of him simply not being physically capable anymore of doing what requires at this level.

For his own sake a move to Turkey, Saudi, Qatar, USA might be for his benefit.
