He probably is tired. He can't keep playing the amount of games he has been doing forever. We must rotate him more effectively.

I really doubt it. Messi's problem this season is his away form. He is the best player in the world by a mile but his performances away have not been that great. I don't know whether Messi's level away from home has affected the team's away form ..or the teams away form has affected Messi's form. I'd like to think it's both.

In the end of last season he missed a lot of playing time when the Liga was over, now if we are fighting to the end he may end up with 60 goals mind = blown
