This would be utterly stupid, the award should be for the best player of the year and nothing else.

Another thing is the balon d'or should be given once after the season and not once a year. would make more sense to evaluate the whole season and not 2 half seasons, I never quite understood that.

Hey the Balloon do'r is offered for the best player in a calender year,how come you offer it to to someone else when clearly Leo has been the better player.If someone stars in the Euros and also has a great start next season then it is possible but not because you are sick of seeing Leo win it every year.
You use great logic man.
