Dear God; it can't get worse than this though, can it?
If Messi doesn't win it (which I think he will, they would be stupid not to give it to him) then I prefer Pirlo or Iniesta over Ronaldo.

i'm with you, if Spain win euro give it to Andres likewise Pirlo with Italy, Messi will have countless of opportunities to win it again, mix it up a little!

We are witnessing probably the best player in history just having his best season individually and you want to give the award to somebody else?

After Xavi winning La Liga (remember his MAJESTIC performance in the Bernabeu), making it to the semi-finals of the CL (remember his MAJESTIC performance in the Emirates) and winning the WC (remember his MAJESTIC performance against Germany) in 2010 and not receiving the Ballon d'Or, Pirlo receiving it now for winning the Scudetto would be a travesty tbh. As much as I would love rather Pirlo to win it than Ronaldo.
Messi will win it anyway though. One does not simply score 82 goals in a season and not receive a Ballon d'Or.
