That freekick was special. Especially under those circumstances. He also set up Alba with an insane pass and Montoya and almost scored at the end. MOTM by quite a distance.

And shhhhhhhhh... but... if I had a lot of money, I'd buy a big club, buy Ronaldo, then force the coach into benching him forever. Then I would just sit there and gloat over his misfortune. Penaldo did very well to flick that ball up before his goal but Pique should have chased him down. While the flick was nice, Messi's freekick was 100 times nicer. Absolutely spectacular Freekick. I can't wait for Messi to get his 4th straight Balon D'or. I just can't see how he won't get it unless he gets injured or Penaldo scores 40 goals by December.
