I think the fantastic reaction by the fans after the miss have played a part too...he's done soooo much for this club,one missed penalty can't erase that even if the penalty was in the CL final let alone a game in the 9-th round of La Liga.Such a support certainly means a lot when a player feels so disappointed as he did after the game.
