If he was tired i doubt very much he would of played tonight.

Expect him to be firing on all cylinders against Arsenal like last year.

you could clearly tell the difference he made when he replaced bojan, good game for him.

@HBA

the backslap incident was when he was playing for barca so i haven't seen that one. but both of those videos are nothing like i pictured them to be when you said he punches players lol (second one doesn't even look like its near his face). you don't see him do that sort of thing often, everyone gets caught up in the heat of the moment sometimes, even messi

ahhh fuck i thought this was the villa thread :lol:

he had a brilliant assist, but their defence was made to asphyxiate messi in the middle, that is why alves and maxwell had so much space to work with in the wings.

In the 16 official games he played in 2011, Messi at least scored 1 goal or gave 1 assist every game (via barcastuff)

And I don't think he's even been as brilliant in 2011 as he was in the first half of the season.

Get used to it.

This is how he will be for the rest of his career. All players grow out of the magical phase and produce magical moments only when needed but they do increasing their effectiveness. Ronaldinho was just not very effective :lol:

Messi (via barcastuff)

"I was very frustrated after the 1st leg. We deserved better but didn't score our chances. I didn't talk for 24 hours."

"We have no other option than to attack from the first to the last minute of the game."

"I love the special atmosphere of the CL. From the moment you hear the hymn, you feel an energy boost."

He is going to trash Arsenal today ...i just can feel it!:D
