He should play only if he is 100% allowed to play. Next year is the WC so he has to be verry carefull not to screw up his chance of winning it because of an injury.

Agreed that Leo needs to stay healthy for both us and country.

But honestly, Argentina's chances of winning the WC are really slim, even with a healthy Messi. Spain, Germany and Brazil are ahead.

I actually think this is the year to go for it for Argentina. I think it will be between them and Brazil. Of course Germany has been ace for the last few years and Spain is Spain, but I see Brazil or Argentina winning it. If Messi ever wants to win the world cup, this is his opportunity.

Yeah, but remember the history. Brazil and Argentina have players that can really play in South American weather and atmosphere. It's either gonna be Argentina or Brazil to win this. It's practically Messi's best chance.

I would also like him winning it for everything that he's done for Barca so far. There are a big amount of legends that didn't win the WC so I wouldn't want Messi to join their club.

Well, what was the diagnosis? What exact condition is making him unfit for the Italy match?

Again, I am hoping it is just a precaution and nothing serious. The way they tried not to reveal what exactly the tests results were worries me a bit.

But then again, looking at how Messi was laughing and enjoying his training with the Argentina NT yesterday gave me some sort of assurance.

All said was he has a thigh muscle overburdening. I'd also like to know more details.
