It's such a sad sight seeing messi letting himself get sucked into this 'celebrity kind of life styles', Attending fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana?, I mean really??
Yes i know these kind of sponsorship are very common among football stars, But messi didn't use to be like that and that's what pisses me off, He was on the top in the world for so long because football was his only care in life, No wonder he slowly started to decline.
And no, Having a baby doesn't have a negative impact on the performance of any footballer, All footballers have children at one time in their career, That's simply a BS argument, Even Cruyff hinted at the impact of his personal life on his decline about a month ago.

"Leo has a lot of quality, but his personal way of life has changed a lot. He was 18 years old, a small kid who went from being poor to a multimillionaire. Those changes are brutal."

Jesus wept...attending fashion shows has made him decline??? What's wrong with spending time with his girlfriend, and what decline are you talking about? He's on fire at the moment.

He rarely drinks and has very little unhealthy habits. Get out of here with your negative BS.

I remember this interview and Cruyff was talking about the fact that because Messi is not at the beginning of his career anymore, he's a millionaire and it might be more difficult for him to motivate himself. And that is where Luis Enrique has to intervene. I don't think Cruyff has a problem with Messi spending his day buying expensive clothes. I remember that Pep used to be a model when he still was a footballer and Cruyff appeared like this on the pitch:

Du faq did I just read...

Clearly you have change issues, but this is someone else's life. Trying to say that he's in decline because of attending fashion shows, buying clothes, building his brand, spending time with his girlfriend & child... gtfo

How about he had a bad season due to injury and generally feeling exhausted? He admitted his legs felt like lead. We can all, I hope, appreciate the massive effort he has put into his game, Barça, Argentina, the World of football with the pressure & eyes of the World watching his every move. Since he stepped up to the professional stage he's gave 110% and yeah it's taken a toll, but to criticize him? Nah, I'm not buying it and quite frankly getting sick of all these naive kids bitching about it. Not saying you're a whiny bitch but please get clued up.

You could say he looked tired at the WC but to be fair, he did work hard and they got to the finals, a lot of thanks to Messi (no argument, that's fact).

However we can clearly see he looks fresh, ready and hungry this season so far.

Hope it's not too soon me saying this but Messi looks back to himself in the last two league games. Looks hungry and could have scored 3+ in every game.

Is he back next week for the game any update on injury?

Haha jeez his styling in the pic with Anto is so bad lol! But yeah, Messi looks like he's back on God mode. Just have to prey he can sustain it through this season!

Messi, who has thigh discomfort, will get the medical green light this week and can play the Liga game against Athletic on Saturday. [as]
