His hold up play was on the money, some of his first touch (he killed one long ball with 2 defenders on him) was excellent, he harassed and pressed the defenders all game, and looked dangerous every time he got the ball around the box, and came close to scoring the goal of the tournament.

I know people here only care about Messi, and don't give a shit about the NT. But if you can't be fair in your assessment about the other NT players, you might as well don't comment on them.

Agreed. Messi and Higuain were great in holding the ball up and killing Belgium momentum. Also Romero has some sort of connection with Higuain.

On topic, Messi with a very smart game, hopefully Di Maria is fit for the next game so he can show his full array of skills.
