I was surprised to see how many voters gave Cristiano the top spot, and only after scrolling through several pages did I see that it says 2014 in the top right corner.

Apparently, there was a massive campaign in Brazil for people to vote for Wendell Lira.


It fucking sucks, really...

It wasn't that massive, as wendell is a pretty unknown player. But his club, family, friends, etc, kept asking for votes in social medias. It worked.

Incredible how Ronaldo got second spot with that amount of votes 27%????!!! And how Marcelo and Modric got in the world best 11 ??? And how that brazilian guy won the goal of the year award is beyond me . Ill never watch this shame again!
