Anyone who wants to can boo the players that is their right just as it is the right of the players to be pissed off with it or put pressure on the players and make the situation worse.

Of course the fans have a right to boo. Fans should be allowed to have a voice, especially at a club like Barcelona that is not privately owned.

For me, fans have a right to boo individual players too, but in Gomes's case it is uncalled for. Gomes is not good enough to technically or physically to make it at Barcelona and that should have been evident to the people who scouted him. If anyone is to booed for the Gomes case, it should be Lucho and Robert.

The fanbase of this club is the most toxic there is in football, And those whistlers are the prime representatives, They're the same people constantly honking their car horns at traffic jams and feel happy about themselves.

One of the main ingredients of their toxicity is what i like to call "The zero inconvenience policy", Apparently this fanbase somehow decided that they feel completely entitled not to experience any inconvenience what so ever that might accompany the hobby of supporting any football club, That includes, Witnessing a bad match, A player under-performing for any period, an underwhelming transfer, Losing a trophy...etc,etc,etc, Essentially meaning, The laws of the football world shouldn't apply to them.

And to illustrate the level of toxicity in our club environment, Last season when the team has just emerged from a historic treble, They had a shocking display against celta-vigo losing 4-1, The next match was against Bayer Leverkusen in camp nou, We ended the first half losing 1-0, And then the whistling started, It only took them 135 minutes to whistle, Let that sink in, A team that just gave it's fans a treble a few months before, Only bought for itself 135 minutes of patience and inconvenience.

So in the end i only have this to say, We are very lucky that we're able to generate so much revenue, Due to that we are one of the highest paying clubs in the world, Almost 70% of our budget goes to player salaries, Cause if it weren't for that, No player or coach would ever set his foot into this place

Lionel Messi is not unhappy with Barcelona fans after whistling

The player was vexed because of recent performances from the team, especially the defeat in Paris

Sport EN | 21.2.2017 | 16:16h.

SPORT have learned from sources close to Lionel Messi that it is not true that he is angry about the whistles heard at Camp Nou on Sunday.
The player was vexed because of recent performances from the team, especially the defeat in Paris.
In no case does he want his gesture to be seen as disrespect to the fans who have adored him as a Barcelona player and still do.
Leo Messi, who on Tuesday is in Egypt at a charity event, feels bad for how the team has played in recent weeks, the same way Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique have commented.
Messi knows the fans give him unconditional support at the club.

Md vs Sport again

** Just a horror idea for our fans:
Imagine if we lose Messi (to Argentina) in a summer of 2018 or something.
And that we need to both overhaul our midfield, and we would be left with Neymar (who is not a leader), 31 years old Suarez, without Messi, without Iniesta and with a horrible midfield.

Let's hope that it won't happen, but we have to be prepared for absolutely any option (with Barto as a guy who is planning our future, lol).

We've already lost Valdes, Alves, Puyol, Abidal Xavi, Villa for nothing.

Fans have the right to express and voice their opinion. However, there is a specific time to do this. Either after the final whistle or when the game is truly over (4-0 etc).. to boo at 1-0 or at 1-1 is an act of extreme arrogance and ignorance no matter how badly the team was performing.

And they forgot the shitstorm that the board has brought upon the players and the legend (who was the primary reason for the club's success in the modern days) and re-elected them just coz the players won them the treble during their reign!!

News regarding Messi's contract renewal:

-Currently negotiations in renewing Messi's contract have stopped. The board is unwilling to meet any of the guarantees demanded by Messi.

-Board provided a big financial offer when all Leo is demanding is for them to fix up the team, and not money.

-If Bartomeu does not meet the conditions (of fixing the sporting front), Messi will put pressure to sell him this summer or go for free next summer, when his contract ends.

-The only option left for Messi in Europe is Manchester City.

[El Confidencial]

HOPE THIS IS NOT F*CKING TRUE!

El Confidencial shit stirring again.

when it comes to Madrid based media and especially when our team (Barca) isn't playing well or any signs of frustration from the players they always pounce on that shit and write articles that aim to destabilize things.

Should perhaps make a list of journalists/papers/radio stations with a decent record

Might do that if I got time.

That said, even the decent ones get it wrong at times
